Chalet Etoile

We have asked our guests for comments about our chalet, both positive and negative, this could be a risky strategy!!  But, we would like to provide the best chalet in the valley, and feedback is vital:

"We had a lovely week thank you, and your chalet is everything you promised and more. We loved it. I would be delighted to give some feedback to you: 

Location - really good. Not quite the views that one gets higher up in Chinaillon, but very convenient.

Chalet accommodation - excellent. We had two families of 5 and 4 respectively and there was ample space. The kids loved the games area in the cellar....could only be bettered by the addition of a pool table (To be added along with a sauna, as soon as we can afford them!!!).  Beautiful open plan living/kitchen/dining area. The fire is superb -We loved sitting in front of that with a glass of red and chance to re-live the day's fun. I particularly enjoyed your audio system. Someone obviously enjoys their audio and visual kit.  (Yes my husband does!) Beds and bedding were very comfortable, but a number in our party found the all feather quilts gave slightly blocked noses! (I should leave a note in the chalet, I am aware not everyone  likes feather, so half the pillows and half the duvets are feather and the others are synthetic - if allergic please check and you will find exactly half of each), very child friendly (we have 3!)

 Equipment - We wanted for nothing...  except kindling, it seems bizarre to include logs, paper, matches and a fire but no kindling (Sorry! in future we will ensure that there is a bag of kindling with each rental - if more than one bag is needed, it is available at the Spar for €10 a bag).  Further possibilities - the main and second double bedroom need a mirror and the upstairs shower room would benefit from a hook on the back of the door. (Consider that done! two mirrors and a hook already purchased!)  Washing machine and tumble dryer would be easier to use if in garage, but not sure whether that is feasible (Sorry, not possible)

 Cleanliness - very good (Thanks to Emma and the chalet boys and girls at Aravis Angelz)

General - We loved it, beautiful chalet, great modern and stylish decor. Comfortable, relaxing and a real home from home. You have a fantastic place there and we will book again if and when we next return to Chinaillon (THANK YOU!)

(Letter left in chalet) Thank you very much for providing such a beautiful and comfortable chalet for the use of people such as ourselves.  We really have appreciated the quality and comfort provided within the chalet.  The entertainment choices (DVD's, Brio, Duplo, jigsaws, games and ping pong) were enjoyed by the younger members of our group.  (Thank you, your letter was much appreciated)

Well what can I say.... but WOW!    We're all really really impressed - the chalet is amazing and everyone is suitably impressed!!

I have one comment - the photo's on your website's just don't do the chalet justice...  (Obviously I will have to look into getting better photos done - but I hope it is better for it to be a good surprise!!!!) It's so much bigger than in the photo's. It's great!
