Chalet Etoile

Chalet Etoile  in Le Grand Bornand, is a brand new large 4/5 bedroom self-catering family ski chalet available to rent.  It has been designed specifically to accommodate 2 families, and is situated within walking distance of the pistes, the shops and restaurants in the village.  In winter it is the perfect ski chalet and in the summer it is a great base for those who enjoy walking, climbing, mountain biking, parapenting and following the Tour de France. The chalet is set on a large plot with magnificent uninterrupted views of the mountains and the pistes.  The chalet is managed by an English managing agent based in the area.

 The accommodation on the ground floor consists of

•  A large sitting room with an open plan kitchen/dining area. 
•  A large TV/family room or 5th bedroom with an en suite bathroom. 
• Separate WC. 
• An large integral garage, with a large shelving system for hanging/drying skis clothes and helmets etc.  There is alsoa  boot warmer for 5 pairs of boots.   

On the first floor there are

• 4 large bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom.
•  A shower room.
•  Separate WC.
• Two of the bedrooms have king size beds, and two have been specially designed to accommodate between 3 and  4 children or adults.

A full size basement has the utility room (wish washing machine and dryer), a ping pong table, and sometime in the future, a games room (hopefully 2012) and plenty of storage space.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GARDEN ALTHOUGH PREDOMINENTLY FLAT, DOES DROP OFF STEEPLY DOWN TO THE  RIVER "TORRENTS DU CHINAILLON" - SO IT COULD POSE A DANGER TO YOUNG CHILDREN.
